Party Boat Rental Pricing 

Lone Star Boat Rentals offers charters of party boats, pontoon boats and barge rentals with a base price starting at $150 an hour.

Base Price 

The base price depends on boat size, amenities and what day of the week you are choosing to book on. 

Hourly Minimum 

All pontoon and party boat rentals require a minimum period of 3 hours on the weak days and 4 hours on the weekends. You can add additional hours to the charter if you want to continue the fun while you are on the water. 

Captains Gratuity 

all of our rentals are captained by an experienced boat captain. We require 20% gratuity to be paid directly to the captain at the dock.

Austin Texas is home to three major lakes all of which are fed by the Colorado River there is Lady bird lake or town lake, Lake Austin and Lake Travis. 

Lady Bird Lake and Town Lake Boat Rentals

Lady Bird Lake is located in the heart of downtown Austin it is classified as a pedestrian lake and is not a place where you can rent a boat. However it is a popular destination for paddle board rentals, sailing, bat viewing and rowing. Motorized boats are restricted to low horsepower engines and lower passenger capacity. Locals and tourists alike will chose to paddle board to the Zilker park sand bar and raft up for a day of fun in the sun. 

Lake Austin Boat Rentals

Lake Austin is located north of the Tom Miller Dam which is located in the Tarrytown neighborhood of Austin. Renting a boat on Lake Austin is possible, most people renting a boat in Austin metro chose to rent a boat on Lake Austin for either wake surfing on a wake boat or celebrating on a party boat rental in Bull Creak Cove near the Pennybacker Bridge north of the city. 

Lake Travis Boat Rentals 

Lake Travis is by far the most popular boat rental lake in Austin. Located just under 30 minuts from down town Austin Lake travis is home to popular party spots like Devils Cove, Starnes Island, and Windy Point Park. Most boat rental companies are located on Hudson Bend and offer a variety of boat rental options. Lake Travis is the most popular lake in Austin for hosting bachelorette parties. It offers a beautiful setting with clear waters and scenic views. Lake Travis is the largest of the Highland Lakes and provides ample opportunities for various water activities, including boat rentals, jet skiing, paddle boarding, and even party boat rentals. Renting a boat without a captain on Lake Travis is indeed possible, provided you meet the necessary requirements and qualifications. For most boaters it is ill advised to rent a boat on Lake Travis without a captain as it can become congested and difficult to navigate. 

Average Hourly Cost: On average, the hourly cost of chartering a yacht on Lake Travis can range from $200 to $500 or more, depending on the size, amenities, and luxury level of the yacht. Smaller yachts or boats may have a lower hourly rate, while larger and more luxurious yachts command a higher price.
